The Crypto Valley Association and its Education Working Group is excited to announce the release of the
2023 CVA Research Journal:
Don't Trust, Verify. Risk Management in Web3.
It is with great pride that the CVA Research Journal is being published for the second year in a row, with a fantastic selection of research papers submitted by the Crypto Valley ecosystem.
The journal is the final product of CVA's Call for Papers initiative that launched in June 2023 during the Crypto Valley Conference. The theme for the 2023 call for papers focused on exploring these risks and developing strategies to manage them. The topic is more important after the events of 2021 to 2023 in the blockchain, DeFi and TradFi world.
The final 2023 CVA Research Journal consists of:
- 14 high quality research papers focusing on risk management in Web3
- 4 executive interviews
- 2 spotlight reports
- 300+ pages of quality content

A heatfel thank you goes out to all authors who dedicated the time to carry out their research and share their findings with the Crypto Valley ecosystem. We also thank Tilmar Goos, the Chair of CVA's Education Working Group for initiating the call-for-papers and tirelessly working on putting together the research journal, as well as Aurelio Schmid, Luis Schaubhut, and Nikoletta Csanyi, whose multifaceted support was indispensable to its realization.
Looking ahead, CVA's Education Working Group intends to leverage the close collaboration between our association members and the contributing authors, fostering strong connections for future endeavors.
