México Lindo y Querido: CVA Latam Chapter's participation at Ethereum Mexico and Mexico Tech Week

In the heart of Mexico, a country known for its vibrant culture and rich history, the CVA Latam Chapter participated in Mexico Tech Week and Ethereum Mexico 2023. These events, after a challenging and long bear market, show the resilient spirit of the community crypto in Mexico.

In addition to attending Ethereum México 2023, CVA participated in two side events. The first was a hackathon organized by CVA member Alan Estrada in collaboration with the Open Web Academy. This hackathon brought together an enthusiastic group of young developers from various regions of Latin America. There they showed the projects they had developed throughout the program. At the event, Patricio Zavala (Chapter Co-Chair) participated as one of the jury members and Claudio Cossio (Chapter Co-Chair) gave a captivating talk explaining how Liquid Stake and on-chain governance works within the Metapool platform and in crypto in general.

The second event was a collaborative effort with ICPHub Latam, LBank, and ZonaTres, that took the form of an engaging meetup. The evening commenced with a panel discussion centered around the theme, "Business Opportunities for Blockchain in 2024." The presence of CVA Latam Chapter's Claudio Cossio as the moderator, and Patricio Zavala as speaker is proof of how the presence of the CVA Latam chapter is expanding across the local communities in Latam. Afterward, an entertaining networking session began. The event occurred in Torre de Cuarzo at the Encora offices, in the heart of Mexico City.

The vibrant and welcoming atmosphere throughout the week reflected the charm and vitality of the Mexican blockchain community. From here, congratulations to all people who organized Ethereum México 2023, the Mexico Tech Week and all the meetups that make Mexico's crypto community unique and enrich the Latam crypto ecosystem.
