CVA Western Chapter welcomes New Chapter Chairs

The Crypto Valley Association is pleased to introduce Olga Konchenkova and Arkan Akin as the new
Chairs of CVA's Western Chapter. The Western Chapter of Crypto Valley Association has been set up to foster the growth of the blockchain and crypto ecosystem in Western Switzerland and has been one of the most active groups of the association over the years. 

The new chairs, Olga and Arkan, have their strategic vision set for the upcoming year and are excited to dive into leading the chapter. Arkan's vision for 2023 is "to further the growth of the ecosystem and community in Western Switzerland through the organization of various types of in-person events to facilitate knowledge-sharing and networking." Olga adds that besides the community growth, she sees an expansion of CVA activity in Western Switzerland through: "Increasing visibility of work, carried out by various CVA Working groups by implementing WG live sessions during in-person events in the region, and encouraging collaboration between start-ups, corporates, academia, and investors with the support of local public authorities."

We’re looking forward to an exciting new year for the Western Chapter and we thank the founder and previous
Chairs, Jérôme Bailly and Ilya Volkov, for their hard work and dedication. They have built and nurtured a strong and thriving group that organized countless CVA events and resulted in many collaborations with CVA members. They will now focus their involvement for our association at the board level.
