CVA Regulatory Working Group welcomes interim working group co-chairs
MICA in the EU is on the way, and SEC in the USA will regulate Blockchain and Crypto rather sooner than later. Other countries will follow. Similar situations concern artificial intelligence or privacy. For that reason, our most active Regulatory Working Group (“RWG”) became of even greater importance than it has been before.
The mission of the RWG is:
- to define and advocate optimal regulations and policy framework for the ecosystem
- to identify and consolidate best practices, leading expert knowledge, and evolving market standards in crypto business activities
- to provide a platform for our members to actively shape the continuous exchange of information with experts, institutions, and authorities.
We are happy to announce that Dr. Katharina Lasota Heller and Dr. Reto Luthiger – both attorneys at law with a proven track record in technology and financial market laws agreed to jointly co-chair the RWG until the 2023 CVA Annual General Assembly.
Katharina and Reto will serve as interim Co-Chairs until the 2023 CVA Annual General Assembly or longer. Before the AGA, members of the association will also have the opportunity to apply for the co-chair position and the new permanent chairs will be announced during the AGA.
Katharina and Reto will concisely present their plans and strategy for the RWG during the Annual Crypto Valley Conference 2023 on the 1st of June 2023.
We encourage you to register for the Conference, join Katharina and Reto at the roundtable, and draw on their knowledge and experience.
